Juan Yacht Design – Logo and branding 2014

We are currently working with Juan Kouyoumdjian of Juan Yacht Design, to produce a new logo, identity and website.

Based in Valencia, Spain, Juan Yacht Design is composed of a multicultural team specialising in the design of high performance racing yachts.

Its members are at the forefront of yacht design and engineering, from the most sophisticated simulations using 3D, CFD and FEA tools to the production of detailed construction drawings and interaction with building teams.

Juan Kouyoumdjian is a French-Argentinian naval architect specialised in ocean racing yachts. He designed all the winning yachts of the Volvo Ocean Race whilst it was governed by the Open 70 rule between 2003 and 2012. He first advocated the very shallow, very wide stern design with twin short rudders and twin daggerboards amidships that brought success to the ABN AMRO racing team in the 2005-2006 edition race. He repeated his success in the 2008-2009 and 2011-2012 editions of the race.

We were approached by Juan’s team to propose a new visual identity to represent the company, in a simplistic and stylish way. But to also ensure the logo and identity can be used in multiple applications and be used to support key messages and achievements.

We were also asked to design and produce a series of marketing materials, stationary items, clothing designs and a new website, to complete a full rebranding exercise.

Dolby and Taylor identity

A new logo and visual identity for Dolby and Taylor

We have recently worked with interior design specialists Dolby and Taylor to produce a new logo and visual identity for the company.

We’ve just taken delivery of the gorgeous new letterheads and business cards that we produced for the rebranded Dolby and Taylor. They now have an identity that matches fine work they produce.

Also have a look at the new website that we’ve created for them. On the face of it the site appears to be a simple two page CMS website, that will be added too over the forthcoming weeks, but in the background the Dolby and Taylor website handles all of the admin and contractor time-sheets, cutting costs internally and making the day to day process of managing each job and each contractor much simpler.

Dolby and Taylor consider it their absolute duty to provide the very highest quality of service, consultancy, management and care at all times.

Consequently their craftsmen are specifically selected for their courtesy and integrity as well as their exceptional talents. They pride themselves on impeccable manners, respect for our customers and surroundings, exacting time keeping and absolute passion for our work. This makes for working in wonderful creative projects, inspired by their interaction with valued clients. They are believers that these components are paramount to the on going pursuit of excellence.

Josh Hill 2013 F3 car

The design for the josh Hill new 2013 Formula 3 car has now been applied.

As well as designing the livery for the Josh Hill F3 car, we have also updated the design for his race suit to match.

Joshua Hill (born 9 January 1991) is a British former racing driver from Surrey, England. He is the son of 1996 Formula One world champion Damon Hill and the grandson of two-time Formula One world champion Graham Hill.

Hill has been racing cars since 2008. After seasons in the British Ginetta and Formula Ford championships, he competed in the Toyota Racing Series, a Formula 3 style open wheel racing series run in New Zealand during the European winter.

In 2011 he competed in the British Formula Renault Championship, taking his maiden win in the November Finals.

In 2012 Hill raced in Formula Renault 2.0 NEC championship, finishing third overall and taking five wins.

Damon Graham Devereux Hill, OBE (born 17 September 1960) is a British former racing driver. He is the son of Graham Hill, and is the only son of a Formula One world champion to win the title. He started racing on motorbikes in 1981, and after minor success moved on to single-seater racing cars. But although he progressed steadily up the ranks to the International Formula 3000 championship by 1989, and was often competitive, he never won a race at that level.

Hill became a test driver for the Formula One title-winning Williams team in 1992. He was promoted to the Williams race team the following year after Riccardo Patrese’s departure and took the first of his 22 victories at the 1993 Hungarian Grand Prix. During the mid-1990s, Hill was Michael Schumacher’s main rival for the Formula One Drivers’ Championship, which saw the two clash several times on and off the track. Their collision at the 1994 Australian Grand Prix gave Schumacher his first title by a single point. Hill became champion in 1996 with eight wins, but was dropped by Williams for the following season. He went on to drive for the less competitive Arrows and Jordan teams, and in 1998 gave Jordan their first win.

Hill retired from racing after the 1999 season. He has since launched several businesses and has made appearances playing the guitar with celebrity bands. In 2006, he became president of the British Racing Drivers’ Club, succeeding Jackie Stewart. Hill stepped down from the position in 2011 and was succeeded by Derek Warwick. He presided over the securing of a 17-year contract for Silverstone to hold Formula One races, which enabled the circuit to see extensive renovation work. Hill currently works as part of the Sky Sports F1 broadcasting team.
